These words may sound hollow in a world controlled by elitist groups who thrive in chaos.

Many questions.
1. They could have been drinking. Safari vessel workers are notorious for doing this. Especially when stationed.
2. Since the man who survived was unconscious, it could have been impossible to know whether another 2 people were missing.
3. Dollar was given priority.
This is saddening. Apathy indeed! I think it follows more from a general disrespect for human life than economic materialism.
